Hi, I’m Chris.Â
You might have found me though my website, http://bartholdautism.com. I’m a faculty member at a University on the East Coast (relatively new to the faculty thing!). I’m also a researcher and clinician. Although I’ve taught many courses in Special and Elementary Education, my main focus of scholarship is autism. I’m especially interested in generalization of learned targets and how we can do better. As a behavior analyst, we sometimes say that we have all of the answers. In my humble opinion, nothing could be further from the truth.
In my spare time, of which there is precious little, I am a musician. One of the things I most enjoy is working with high schoolers who are learning to be music ministers. We don’t give them enough credit sometimes.
This blog will not always be about autism, although usually it will be. Please don’t be disappointed. It might be about something fun I want to share, or might be about behavior analysis, or something that has come up repeatedly in my work or school.Â
Happy reading!
