Marion Steele Symposium Application

Marion Steele Symposium Application

The Marion Steele Symposium is sponsored by the University of Delaware Department of Human Development and Family Studies, in cooperation with the Delaware Association for Family and Consumer Sciences. It is named for a distinguished alumna of the University of Delaware, Marion H. Steele, who was editor for many years of the Journal of Home Economics, now the Journal of Family and Consumer Sciences. The symposium consists of paper presentations and posters by undergraduate and graduate students based on work about families, consumer sciences, human development, and communities. The Symposium is an opportunity to recognize research reflecting the high standards of scholarly written work to which Marion Steele dedicated her professional efforts. The Symposium honors both the students’ participation in the Symposium and the memory of Marion H. Steele.
